Here’s the latest finished garden piece. We have got two pear trees in our garden, they’re the tall thin type that in garden catalogues have pears festooned all over them. I think these are artificially applied. We’ve had our pear trees for 15 years and one of them has produced one pear in the whole of that time. It went black and dropped over the fence into next door’s garden. At least it provided a memory for my autobiographical work…
Details first for a change. This is a line representation of a snow covered iris I photographed.
Another detail. I used some lutrador in this piece, with painted calico and canvas, and silk.
Here are the two pears, I suppose there should really only be one.
