I was really pleased to be told that my piece “Summer; hill, pool, river” had been selected for the summer exhibition at MOMA Wales in Machynlleth, and that it had won second prize too. It was quite a surprise. I can’t go to the award ceremony though as I’m teaching in Berkshire. More importantly my daughter Chloe also had her work accepted, which is great as she’s just starting out.
The work had to be based on the last part of the poem “The Love Messenger”, by R. Williams Parry. Here it is anyway. I’m still working on”14 Books” and images will shortly appear.
